ST. XAVIER’S SR. SEC. SCHOOL, CHANDIGARH

Online Classes from 12 January 2026

Dear Parents and Students,

Keeping in view the latest directions issued by the District Education Office, UT, Chandigarh regarding the extension of winter break, there will be no classes in Physical mode till 13 Jan, 2026 however, ONLINE CLASSES shall be conducted from Monday 12 January, 2026 for all classes Pre Nur – IX & XI.

The Time Table and the meeting links will be shared in class groups in due course of time.

Classes X & XII Pre Board Examinations will be conducted in School as scheduled i.e. from 12 January 2026.

Winter Uniform and Change of Timings

Dear Parents & Students,

Kindly note that the winter uniform and the winter timings will be effective from Monday 3 November, 2025. The School Timings will be:

For Classes 3 – 10 8:00 am - 2:00 pm
For Classes 11-12 8:00 am - 12:30 pm
For Classes P. Nur-2 9:00 am - 12:30 pm

Bus students must coordinate with the respective transporters for the pickup timings.

Keeping in view the incessant rain spells and instructions issued by Director School Education,Chandigarh Administration, the school will remain closed till 7 September, 2025.

The date sheet from 8 September, 2025 onwards remains unchanged as of now.

The revised date sheet for the postponed exams / recall will be shared in due course of time in the class groups.

Dear Parents & Students,

Keeping in view the inclement weather and poor condition of roads due to water logging, it has been decided for the safety of students that the exams/recall scheduled for 2–4 Sept, 2025 have been postponed to 18–20 Sept, 2025. The examinations/Recall schedule from 6 Sept, 2025 onwards remains unchanged.

Keeping in view the directions issued by the Director of School Education, UT,Chandigarh dated 10 January, 2025, classes III-XII will resume in offline mode from Monday 13 January, 2025.

The School Timings for III-XII will be 9:30 am -1:30 pm.

Whereas Classes Nur-2 will continue online mode with the same timings till further instructions

Keeping in view the latest directions isued by the Chandigarh Administration, There will be OFFLINE classes for Classes VI-XII from 23 January,2024. However, classes Nur-V will continue their ONLINE classes in ONLINE mode.
The School timings will be9:30 am - 1:30 pm. till further instructions.
